Nice job, you'll get a lot of use from all the drawers. They fill up fast, then you gotta remember what's in what drawer. I also vote for clear finish. There's nothing like natural wood.

I ended up using spray poly, will post a finished picture after my wife returns from a trip to vist grandson (she has the camera)

Finally got around to taking a photo after finishing it. I followed the suggestion of using poly. The tags are just printed on the computer and clear tape over them. Makes it easy to change tags.

Very nice project, and one I've wanted to tackle for a while. I think you may have inspired me to try it. I was wondering, did you, like the plans say, use pine throughout? Or were you able to use any other materials for the guides or dividers, for instance? My workshop is so damp and cool this time of year up here in the Pacific Northwest, I may use as much mdf or particle board that I can to keep things from warping.

I used pine for everything but the drawer bottoms. I had some 1/8" hard board laying around that I used for that.
