    Cutting Board

Certainly not a real project, but it was fun and quick.
It's Walnut and Ash strips laminated. Of each wood, a 1/32 strip and then additional strips in 1/32" increments up to 17/32. A 3/4" strip is cut off the final lamination, flipped end for end and glued back on.
Soaked with Butcher Block oil, Mineral oil, and the excess wiped off.

That's really slick Ken. But if you stare at it awhile it's kinda hard on the eyes. Neat. Pat

Wild, just wild. Don't tell us you're actually going to cut on it. Maybe a serving tray. Looks too nice to be stickin' a knife to it.

Ken beautiful job on the cutting board. Kinda reminds me of the one I made for my mom in high school shop class. It was alternating walnut and birch, she liked it and used for years. eezlock

Great looking board Ken, that does look like fun to make, flipping the ends was a neat touch. I hope the optical illusion doesn't cause you to chop your fingers off.

                              My sentiments exactly.
How does that qualify for Incra Project status? In what way did you use their product?
