    An occasional table

Plans are from Wood Magazine. Legs are white oak (I'm not real happy with the leg design, in real life anyway) looked good in the magazine. The top I think is olive wood and IMO would look good sitting on top a concrete block
    Finish is gloss lacquer.

Beautiful table, Pat. Mind if I appropriate your design?

That table top looks amazing. What process did you use to apply the laquer and how many coats?

                You THINK it's olive wood.
If I had that much olive wood I would know, because my wallet would be quite a bit lighter.
It sure looks like olive and up here anyways, that is mighty expensive stuff.

Hey, that subject line pretty much sums up my woodworking output: An occasional table.

Yours looks great! Did you spray the lacquer?

The legs look good from here -- nicely joined.

                      Regards,
                      Tom

Yes, it's sprayed Deft gloss lacquer from a rattle can. I need to either learn to spray with a rig or ask Deft for a volume discount Oh, and about a can's worth. I'm addicted to that deep high gloss look. I think it's . Pat
