Well almost anyway I still need to replace the front handle screw but that coming!
I think to get a good view of this project I need to take you back and refresh memories on what this plane looked like when I bought it;

I made a new knob and handle, de-rusted, cleaned, polished, repaired and painted. I replaced the blade and the chip breaker with new Hock’s.

All the brass has been cleaned and polished up to I think probably better than new.

I have flattend and made the sides 90 degrees to the sole. I even went so far as to repaint the background of the Stanley logo.

In any case I can’t wait to give it a try, I will probably follow up with a shavings picture when I get out to the shop. Using the thicker Hock blade and chip breaker allows me to close the mouth up some which should produce a finer cut for me. Now I guess I can get back to woodworking till my next divergence.
Thanks for having a look. Questions, thoughts and comments welcome.
