      I'll probably have to build another as LOML has claimed ownership of this one!

      I didn't worry about running the wood thru the planer since I had personally removed every nail/screw from the deck wood as I ripped it up to begin with but I think the suggestion of a steel brush is a good one and if it were wood I wasn't SURE of I believe the notion of running a metal detector across it is a good idea .. so NOW I have an excuse to buy a metal detector!

        excellent use of the new tool. Nice chair too. and a veyry good excuse for another new tool (metal detector)
