    Ummm, hadn't thought of using UHMW tape, Lee. I do glue strips of felt (that matches the flocking) on the drawer bottoms to try to even out the gaps. I have to do another box soon, I'll try the tape, thanks for the idea.

                Heckuva good looking first box ! That's one of those projects on my list of things I'd like to try, but just never seem to get to it.

                        I really enjoyed making it, and it wasn't anywhere nearly as hard as I had imagined. The top drawer cut is a bit better than the bottom, but live and learn. I'm happy with the results.

                        The roomy loved it, we got hugs galore.

                        I hadn't thought of the glide tape, I used that stuff plenty on my desk project for the writting surfaces, and I have some left over. I'll have to consider it. The drawers slide in and out so easily, I doubt that the tape will make any difference, it's not as if they weigh anything, but it could be interesting in terms of centering the drawers in the opening better.

                        I encourage any and all of you guys to make one of these! They are fun and fairly easy. I used my BS, Jointer, and OSS, that's it power tool wise.
