cross cut fence hold down

A part of the plastic center hold down for the sliding fence has broken on my 3100.
Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on replacements? I am not having much luck looking around ebay.
Part labeled as 6 in diagram below is what broke, but it is the little plastic tab that this shown next to the nut labeled as 26 that broke.

I don't use the hold down anymore, but early on I filled the hollow plastic part with #7 1/2 lead shot and epoxy. This gives the part strength and mass. Actually, I did this with all of the hollow plastic parts on the saw and all of the other machines I have. I bet someone here can provide you with a source though.

There used to be a guy that machined that part and a few other parts in aluminum. Several people (including me) bought those aluminum parts at close to $50 each and it has been worth it.

That one is solid plastic - computer printed and should be stronger that the original. And not a bad price either.

Oh very nice. I was only finding posts for fully replacing the fence with this clamp.

Another possibility. If I unbderstand,m you broke the equivalent of the circled part in red

On your plastic part you can just cut off the plastic protrusion and then put on one made like this onto what remains of the bracket.

Again, its probably easier to pay $19 for the one on eBay
