    Stock hold downs for BT3x

Haven't tried them yet, I need a project.

It's a high fence as well as a stock guide.

Can slide the SMT over all the way to the main table to get close featherboarding.

    And an alternate:

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

I have two old Rockler feather boards. One is set up as a feather board, and the other is assembled reversed and used mounted to a T-track mounted on the BT3000 fence as hold-down and anti-kickback. I also fit the feather boards to the router in the BT3000 for holding side ways or down. Mine are the older black ones with the 3" rectangular miter slide locks. Unbelievably, neither have saw-blade or router bit marks in them!

I like the looks of the stock guide, Loring. Can't wait for a user report on that. Hopefully the wheels have a little toe to drive the stock against the fence?
Are the feather boards sprung so they self adjust?

yes, the rollers have slight toe in towards the fence.
The featherboards "spring" is in the fingers.

Here is the toe-in of the wheels in the stock hold down, visible. 2-3 degrees, anyway
