Freud SD306 six inch stack dado.
been a good dado for me.
I have an 8-inch but found out the hard way that it doesn't fit over 1/2" stack on the BT3000.
Anyone with a cabinet saw want to buy a 8" Freud dado set, barely used?
Then I cleaned the saw, vacuuming all the dust from the corners of the blade shroud area (there's a well under the riving knife mount that catches dust)
Blew out some more with the air gun. Then I lubed the motor mount raising and lowering ways where the shims are with a generous amount of paste wax. They've lasted 24 years...
Then I cleaned the blade... Last year I cut some vinyl shelf mats for the remodeled kitchen, I took the rolls from the store and simply cut them as a roll on the saw to the correct width for our shelves. Worked well except it left a thin melted coating on the side of my blade. I gave it a good scrubbing and found that Simple Green loosened it enough to scratch it off with my fingernail and then a small brass brush. Looks much better now.
Have you given your saw the TLC it needs?
BT3000/3100 and clones are nice machines but they work best if taken care of.
