    Fence

2 1/2 weeks ago my fence broke, the clamp/roller holder assembly (plastic) cracked. Went on ebay and bought the complete assembly $67.50 ea. free shipping, got it on Christmas eve. Kinda pricey but well worth it, solid aluminum well crafted. Only modification I had to do was drill the mounting screw holes on my fence to 1/4" as the mounting screws were bigger. Fit like a glove, worked like a dream. You could buy just the body part for $47.50 and use your old clamp & roller but I figured my fence/saw is 20 + years old so just replace everything. Highly recommend this product if you're in need to repair the fence.

Yes, I got an aluminum roller-holder bracket and it works great. I think eventually all the plastic ones will split/crack/fail but it takes 15 years or so. Here's mine, installed. Upside down view.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.
