HELP!! BT3100 Blade will not Elevate

I can not get the saw blade to elevate as of today. I took the right side off and then I noticed that the pin in the Tilt / Elevating Mechanism located by the spring was bent. I removed the pin and straightened it out. I then replaced the pin so that the spring is all the way toward the front of the saw. The pin does not seem to stay engaged in the slot in the shaft; therefore the shaft is not turning. See photo below.

Is the spring in the right position? Any suggestions???

Before I forget it, the thread earlier last week about an air table linked to an eBay site that had a collection of BT blade lift gears, shafts etc. Hopefully you won't need parts by if you do...

Thank you. I have been watching the one that has everything available for $25, but I am hoping to not have to make a purchase.

Thank you. I ordered a new clutch and roll pin. Hopefully, these parts will solve the problem.
