    Broken Rip Fence

Dropped it, looking for the replacement part number for Sears. $119.00 on ebay seems excessive, this is for a BT3100.

    any help is appreciated.

    broken rip fence

You might want to go to Craig's list or e-bay. On e-bay type in BT3000
or Bt3100 in the tools section of the search area, usually something will come up
at "reasonable prices". Sometimes you can buy a used, saw for little money
if you take time to look around for it, the prices seem to be getting cheaper
and cheaper as time goes by.

Broke the whole thing completely or just the plastic parts on the rear? You can get the plastic parts (or any of the parts of the rip fence) for repair relatively cheap (compared to $120) although the prices for the plastic parts in and of themselves seems expensive for bits of molded plastic, its a whole lot less than a complete new rip fence.

For example sears has all the parts and the exploded diagrams with part numbers listed for the BT3100:
We carry millions of appliance parts, snow blower, lawn & garden replacement parts, water filters and more. No matter where you bought it, Sears Parts Direct has the right parts.

even on ebay a rip fence should be a lot less than $119. Heck, there's a lot of used, complete BT3100 saws for $100 or less if you are patient.

A good idea there. Do a forum search. Ryobi/Sears parts have been offered up in threads. You may find something there at a reasonable price...maybe free.
