Is there any benefit to a zcp when cutting 45* angles? If so, how could it be made, considering at the rear of the blade is the location of the riving knife.
I made one from 3/4 oak for 90 * cuts. It lasted about 2 years. After cutting a slot in the rear for the "knife", there was only about 1 1/2 in. left to hold it together at the front. I guess it finally got tired of me removing it and it split apart at the front.
Is there a better way? Thanks for your advice.
