    Is this a BT3000 part?

I'm a newbie to the forum (but longtime infrequent viewer), and recently bought a BT3000 off local CL. In the box of miscellaneous parts was a 1-1/2" knurled steel nut (picture attached). Can anybody identify it as a BT3k part? If not, no big deal- just curious!

I can't identify it on any of the parts diagrams. From the look of the seller's garage the saw was pried from, I suspect that it came from some other tool. To my eyes it has a vague Sears look to it, but I can't place it in my mind.

The saw was pretty grimy, but the shims are in good shape, and after cleaning and lubing the blade mechanism is silky smooth. I didn't see the posting of 13 or 14 things to look for in a used BT3K until after I bought the saw- the SMT "B" guides had been replaced by metal washers; parts are on order from eReplacement!

It's possible it was used as an ill-advised substitute for a T-nut.
