    BT3000 and 3100 parts compatibility?

I'm selling parts for the 3100, and I have a few 3000 owners asking me if parts will fit.

So will the SMT and rip fence from the 3100 fit on the 3000?

    Thanks,
    Bob

Yes, those parts are interchancheable. The fence rails are the most obvious difference between the BT3K and BT3100, but even those parts can be used together to make a serviceable wide fence as the meaningful bits will mate up.

I'd be hard pressed to think of a part that wasn't interchangeable.

They're all interchangeable although some have to be changed in groups; i.e. the shims need to be one type or the other not a mix of the two.
