    Where to buy/order parts?

I suppose this has been addressed in the past, but might be worth revisiting. I'm thinking about ordering some small pieces to finish up getting my saw going. So far, I've found:

Sears Parts Centers: free shipping to the center, but minimum price seems to be $2.16 for each piece and up from there. And some things may not be available.

    Home Depot: ??

Outdoor Distributors: Good prices, but shipping seems to start at around $8.

Gardner (linked to by ryobitools.com): Shipping seems to be $8.

Ebay: mixed bag, but not much free shipping. Sometimes shipping gets a bit silly.

Any other alternatives? Or ways to get free shipping like bigger orders, coupon codes and such?

Sears may be your best bet for most. Be aware that many of the same parts were used on more than one model of saw, and those identical parts may be listed with different part numbers. This may help if one number is out of stock. Also, you may be able to get the part you need cheaper by checking the prices on the different part numbers...

Sears has set its minimum price to $2.16 so many small parts like shims, screws etc. can get expensive.
Besides shipping, availability should be your bigger concern. M&D mower has been reliable for most parts, quickly. Details in the BT3 FAQ.

I picked up several parts from Gardner a couple weeks ago. There was one mixup with part numbers, but to their credit they fixed the problem and sent 2 of the part when I only ordered 1. Just thought I'd share my experience, in case it helps!

BORG Was a Good Source for my BT3000 Parts

A fellow was looking for wrenches awhile back - there were some replies here including my success story using the local BORG. No price minimums on small items either.
