    Quick Wide Table Kit Question

I want to increase the rip capabilities of my 228110. If I have or am making my own stand/storage unit the saw will sit on, I shouldn't need the wide table let set?

Other then the "wide table kit" what else is need to get this to work?

If you're making your own base the leg kit probably isn't needed.

You might need some extra T-nuts or T-studs depending on your design for whatever you intend to support the extension with.

If you haven't checked out T-nuts.com be sure to. Just follow the link at the top of the forums page. http://www.bt3central.com/forum.php

Ditto on the Tnuts.com plug... The prior owner of my saw threw in a mess of their T nuts, they are WAY better quality than the OEM ones...

You have the idea right. Just make sure you have some sort of support for the wide table kit (extended rails, and rail connectors). Mine is sort of hanging out in the air for now, I will be building a leg set for it most likely next weekend. I don't really want to do the cabinet underneath the saw rails as I have large storage items that can stash NICELY in that space underneath the rails... I certainly do understand the desire to build one though. They can be nice, just don't fit my needs is all...

I saw picture somewhere of a guy standing next to his BT3X00 and it was pretty much what I am looking to do. He had a really nice setup.

You will want to get to the Articles section for the Mother Lode of jigs, fixtures, fixes, cabinets, and tips for the BT3K.
