    Table Extension

Does anyone have suggestions and pictures of shop made legs to support extension rails?
I have searched and now need some advise.
    Thanks

I made 2 legs out of 2" Aluminum angle with a couple of pieces of 2 x 4 screwed between them and attached them with t-nuts. Quick simple and has held up well over the years.

I don't mind hearing it, but keep it to yourself if it stinks.

      table extension

Table extension or rail extensions....either one is easily accomplished with
a couple of 1/2" or 3/4" black iron pipe threaded on both ends and 4 pipe floor flanges the type that screw onto the pipe and have 4 holes in them
for mounting to a floor or wall. These are relatively inexpensive and can be bought at hardware stores or the borg. Just have the pipes cut and threaded to proper length, screw a the flange on each end and mount one end to the rails and you are done!

This is not exactly what you are asking, but check out this thread by LarryG. It might give you some ideas. http://www.bt3central.com/showthread...idth+extension
