    Height locking adjustment

I have the Sears equivalent of the BT3100. Recently I noticed thta even though I have the height adjustment lever pushed all the way to the left, I can still raise or lower the blade.

So far the setting of the blade seems to stay in place but I worry after during a lot of precision cuts whether the setting might slip.

Can't find anything in the manual about adjusting. Any ideas please?

The locking lever locks the bevel angle, NOT the height

Don't worry - it wont move down by itself.

It allows you to make fine height adjustments.
    Downunder ... 1" = 25.4mm

      agree with Rod K.

BTW, the elevation adjustment is exactly 12 turns per inch. That's 0.083" per turn or
.021" per 1/4 turn which is just over 1/64th inch.
