    Miter fence hold down

My search skills are failing me so please direct me to the post if this has already been done.

My miter fence hold down bracket is broken. I torqued it too much and it split. Has anyone attempted to make thier own after a similar situation? Or should I just order a new one from Sears?

    Thanks.

rod kirby made one when he had his BT3000. Should be easy enough.

I don't know how much Sears charges but I got one on ebay for my long miter fence recently.

$1 plus $6 shipping. Link to auction

Thanks. I have some QSWO scap laying around. I will try to fabricate one. If it turns out OK, I will post some pics if there is interest.

        Thanks!
