    Replacement blade wrenches?

    Hey all-

I just sold my BT3100 but in the process realized I can't find both of the blade wrenches (I've moved twice since buying the saw.. never needed to change the blade).

I can't tell if I have the "small" or "large" wrench... but I definitely have one of them.

Any suggestions for (a) replacements or (b) substitutes?

    Thanks.

the wrenches are 1/2" and 3/4"; the larger is for the blade arbor nut. the smaller for the riving knife.
Both have a wide slot on the other end for the arbor lock.

A standard box end or open end wrench will work fine for the arbor nut and riving knife nuts, the skinny feature of the wrench is useful for fitting the slot in the arbor (to the right of the blade) to keep the arbor from turning. You can fashion an ok substitute - some peole have cut them from sheet metal, or some have stuck an appropriate sized allen wrench into one side of the arbor lock slot.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

      Thanks-

We'll see if the buyer is ok with that.

If not... if anyone has a spare set they want to sell me... PM me!

they'er about $5-10 at Sears parts...
Goto www.sears.com , select pars, then enter 315.228110 as the part number, then look for the wrenches in the listing.
Probably cost you another $5 shipping. If you have a 1/2 and 3/4 open end or box wrench, you only need one to get the arbor lock end.
