    Where to buy?

    Hi all,

I'm new to the forum but have been reading about the BT3100 saw for a while now. I'm interested in purchasing the unit but haven't had any luck in finding one. Is this saw no longer on the market?? Thanks.

The BT3100 has been discontinued by Ryobi for over a year now,
The Sears Craftsman 21829 saw is the same basic saw made by Ryobi for Sears with the addition of a folding base and some additional accessories. Someone posted that they saw clearance signs on the 21829 at their local store so it may be at the end of its product life... (another way of looking at this, you can get a ggod price, now)
OTOH, they sold 100,000's of the BT3100/BT3000 and they're available all the time on CraigsList and other local sales flyers if you just look with an educated eye.
