    Dado Blade ??

Hello, I know this may be a dumb question, but can a 8" dado be used with the BT 3100 or must you use a 6" dado set?

short answer - yes a 8" can be used but with limitations.
    I'd get the 6"
I just e-mailed you the FAQ with the long answers.

Unless you need 3" deep dadoes, stick with a 6" set. You'll be glad you did.

an 8 will only do 2.5" max, anyway. 6" will do 1.5" max. That should still be plenty deep - I've never even come close to needing that.
