11-26-2007, 01:00 PM
When I changed a blade yesturday, I could not get my blade when returned to 90 degrees to lock.
Any ideas?

Probably a stupid question but did you put the inner and outer washers on the blade?

try telling us more specifically what you did and what its doing.
Is the locking lever not moving?
Why did you change the blade bevel when changing blades, anyway?
I've been cruising the Ryobi and BT3central sites for 7 years now and cataloging the frequently asked questions and this has never come up.

Loring, the manual recommends tilting the balde to make it easier to get to the nut. I never found it needed.
Don, I had the same problem a while back. A good cleaning and lube of the mechanism did the trick.

Yes, Pappy, I think I remember that now you mention it.
probably good advice - cleaning and lubing. A lor of sawdust can accumulate inside the saw.
