    "Mobile Base" accessory

What's included in the mobile base accessory--two wheels, two steel wedges that bolt to the wheels, and bolts that attach the wedges to the stand...anything else? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards,

    John

Other than an Owner's Manual, that's it. As I understand it, the casters are the same ones that were used with the original straight-legged stand of the BT3000. The wedge-shaped adapters were added when the BT3100 went to a stand with splayed legs.

Putting "Mobile Base" in quotes was appropriate. The accessory casters will allow you to move the saw, but fall well short of the convenience of a true mobile base.

I would say the overall satisfaction level of the "mobile base", from comments here over the years, would be about 2 out of 10.
Actually those are just straight casters in a common size.
Sold for about $20 for the BT3000, you can buy the two castors for around $8 at Lowes or HD.

The low satisfaction deals with how you have to raise and tilt one end of the saw (pretty high) and make like a wheelbarrow. it was a backbreaker and many thought hard on the saw. Spending $30-50 on a true mobile base was much more rewarding.
