    will bt3000 fit in 3100

    local seller has old motor in good cond for $25 says only lift threads are damaged.
    would like to get as spare for my 1-1/2 year old bt3100-1
    Will it fit?

    Should be the same if its not too old. Some old (greater than 10 years) BT3000 had 13 amp motors that were different.

    Build date was imprinted on the label for all BT3000 in a four digit YYWW format, where YY is the year and WW was the week (1-52).

      He says its 13amp so must be the old version
      I think I'll look anyway. maybe he has some other odd bt parts.
