    New to this forum

I'm new to this website and forum...just picked up a Craftsman 21829 today!
I wasn't sure if that saw is related enough to allow participation on this site?

A number of years back I had an early BT3000 which I used for quite awhile to build some pretty decent quality/size projects.

I left woodworking a few years ago because of a move and loss of a 2.5 car garage shop space, but fortune has smiled on me again and I now have some space again ( not as large as before)...so you probably can guess, that I want to make some sawdust and wood chips again!

I've looked this site over for a few days now, and it seems like there is a lot of good help and ideas available on it...so I decided to check in!

Welcome aboard. The names on your tools has nothing to do with the fellowship of this forum. Pull up a chair, be safe and have a good time. Pat

Welcome to the cult. And no, you can have any saw you want (or none at all) to partake in the fun and the extreme expense of woodworking.

Everyone's welcome and I'm sure you'll find a way to have just about any question in the universe (ask Loring) answered, truthfully.

It's always good to have new members to bounce ideas around.

Welcome, FNILLES! I hope that saw works out for you, as i'm sure it will. Post some pics as you get going with it.

Many of us have wondered about the accessory table on that thing. It's got two miter slots, but there's no obvious way of aligning them with the blade. If you find a way to do that, be sure to tell us about it!
