I'm still a new user of my BT3100, so pardon the newbie question.
I'm in the market for a decent plunge router. Don't have a lot of money to spend right now, either, so that limits things. I took a trip down to HD today, and spotted the Ryobi RE180PL router. The price was very attractive, and it wasn't nearly as big and bulky as the other plunge routers they had on display. For the sort of work I do, the less bulk the better. Then when I got home, I was looking at my BT3100 and realized that the saw came with an attachment that will mount a router. So, now I'm getting even more stoked, thinking surely that the attachment will mate up with a Ryobi RE180PL router. Still, though, realizing the danger of assumptions, even if they don't appear unwarranted, I thought I should at least ask the good folks here if somebody has indeed mounted this router to their BT3100, and perhaps more importantly, what your impressions are of this tool?
Another question regarding this router -- probably I should post this is a different forum area? Are guide bushings readily available for it?
Best,
Michael
