Do you trust the rip scale on your BT?

    I think that the gauge is better as a reference for anything important out comes the tape

      I always use the rule on the rails to get "close" to what I want; then use a steel rule to measure from the tooth nearest the fence to pin down the numbners. Takes a few seconds longer but saves wood and swear words!
