Talked to Customer service, Steve (real nice guy), again at RYOBI. Ryobi’s going to send me a new SMT table top, not the whole SMT assembly.
Looks like I will have to adjust the forbidden non-eccentric pivot screw. At least it is better than disassembling, returning the saw and assembling a new one.
