    Candle wax?

    Ok, I see in multiple posts folks recommending candle wax. Are we talking about just rubbing a regular candle on the surface or is this a brand of wax?

      I think they mean generic paraffin, the stuff candles are made of.

          The best way to go is to pick up a bar of paraffin any where canning suplies are sold. If they sell Mason jars most super markets will have it.

              When I got mine, I melted it in a pan and filled ice block trays with it.

              Now I've got a jar full of paraffin blocks
              Downunder ... 1" = 25.4mm

                      A regular candle also works. I should know, I just proved it the other day!
