    Bargain cyclone device

Seen online. If you are looking to upgrade your shop vac with a small cyclone. Mount this to a 5 gal bucket top to keep your vac filter much cleaner. Easier to empty, too.

Looks like it would fit pretty easily to 2.25" OD vacuum hoses.

I've had good service from this outfit, with really cheap prices.
    Currently $17.99 with free shipping.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

That is a good deal. I've had good experience with this one from Oneida that is similar:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GZLCHM?th=1

    But it was $105!

I use it as a pre-filter on my dust collector when I'm doing something that produces a lot of chips, it saves me from having to empty the canister on the dust collector so often, which is a pain. It does a good job of separating the chunks.

Just ordered. I picked up a small shop vac at an estate auction to pair it with.

Good for you. Find a sturdy bucket that won't collapse under a slight suction. let us know how it goes! With Photos!

Won't be trying it out until spring. No room in the garage with the car, but I'll make sure to take pictures. I'm already designing the cart for the vacuum and dust collection.
