My guy would or could not figure out how to put the pallet in the tariler even after I explaind how to do it. So I borrowed his (gave him $10) to help me unband it and load it in to the trailer took about 15min. got home took about 2 hours to sort it and stack it. My truck could have hauled but the bed was to short (5ft bed on a crew cab) The kid gave me the pallet and some other boards for my effort. I have discarded about 25% of it because of spits rot and trimming the ends with nail holes off on some of the wood. Some of it was wet and smelled musty so it has been stickerd and stacked in the garage for now. all the wood will be stickerd and stacked along side the garden shed to help it dry out it the 90-100 degree weather that is comming, once the latest rain storm passes. In June or July it will be stacked in the loft of my shop after I build some racks up there. There is some very useful wood there. BIL is going to try and help me figure out what type of wood I have.

You order it online. If you have it shipped to your location you have to pay the freight, but, if you have it shipped to the store and pick it up they cover the freight cost. The fellow told me that it might take an extra week or two because they have to wait for one of their regular shipments.Comment

Pictures of some of the wood from Lumber Liquidators. I picked up two packs. Got some really nice stuff. Only about 1/2 of it has been cleaned up and so far have tossed about 25% of the wood.
Not sure but there appears to be lots of African Mahogany, and alot of stuff I still need to id.

I would have to say a planer is a definite requirement. The money you save on the price of this wood should more than justify the purchase of a planer.

Picked up my pack last weekend. Made me proud of my little ol Mazda truck. Anyway there are about 15 4/4 white wood boards that are fairly light in weight. Almost like a baswood. They were all moldy on the surface so I planed the moldy stuff off outdoors before bringing them indoors and stickering them. Question. Is the mold likely to continue growing? Do I worry about bringing the stuff into the garage shop? Other stuff is mostly small narrow stuff, but the load was definitely worth $50.

Been working on my 2 packs. Lots of Cherry. I think it will take a week to get it all sorted, planed, ripped and stacked in my lumber racks. Well worth the money.John HunterComment

I picked up a pack in Manchester, NH. I got a few really nice pieces however, I was able to pick through their scrap wood pile. I came up with over 60 Great pieces. (read FREE)
