    Enco - 20% discount, free shipping - ends 1/14/14 at 11pmET

I got this email from Enco:

Log on to http://www.use-enco.com and enter both promo codes 2TUPS and 2TDIS for an Additional 20% off ALL Orders + Free UPS Ground Shipping! No minimum order required! No product exclusions!

(It just worked for me -- I ordered a tap and die that'd been on the list waiting for enough other things to spread the cost of shipping.)

    thanks, I needed something.

enco 325-1380 flat contact dial indicator point

I use them for dial gauges and measuring the height of bits, blades, etc.

Normally 6.29 plus shipping... about 5 bucks shipped free this way.

    Only a few more hours!

If you are ever in need of acme threaded rod, they have a good source of them for not much $$, low carbon steel.
I think in straight lines, but dream in curves

Good to know, thanks ... next time an offer like this comes around, I might upgrade the tension crank on my bandsaw

They usually offer it once every month or two. I mainly buy the two size brass rods I use from them. I wait until this sale hits and then I save a couple hundred bucks. The sales like that usually last for a few days.

I ordered a 4ft length of angle aluminum and a $1 feeler gauge.
They sent the AL in a sturdy 6- 1/2 ft box and the feeler gauge in another box about 12" cube.

Their shipping cost must have nearly equaled the sale price.

I know what you mean ... I once ordered a 12" piece of 0.10" diameter stainless steel tubing, there was enough space in the box for about 799 more
