That's exactly why I was so careful not to nit-pick or make negative personal comments, and did not take offense at yours.

Can we all just relax and take a deep breathe. The Op did provide enough info for a member to find the bargan. I did a AVG search for the number provided and the first answer was an Amazon product lisitng. From there one could identify the blade he purchased.

Good call--and my apologies for any offense I may have caused.

And Mark--I don't recall if I welcomed you back in your "returning" post. Glad you're on the mend, and the work/commuting front is improving!!

I am happy for the heads up. I needed some of those and just ordered 15 from local HD.

Hopefully they can find them, they have had issues in the past.

The order on line pick up in store kind of perplexes them...

Please let us know if you are successful. I've tried 12 stores, all show stock, but none have actually had them and all the orders have been cancelled. Even tried visiting some of the stores, since the inventory numbers are sometimes wrong, but still no actual blades.

HD corporate says one of the blades, Model # DS0912BWP, Store SKU # 1000004241, was stocked but the other number was not stocked and they could not find a SKU number or any record of having that part. According to HD corporate, stores received a maximum of twenty blades per store and it was a trial offer with sales limited to one per customer per day. However, if you can find them in stock, you could bring friends or buy one a day to get around the quantity limit.

If you received the pickup notification, you should be OK - I received cancellation notices and never received the pickup notification.

I got my second notice to pick up my order by tomorrow or it'll be canceled. I guess I know where I'm heading to first thing after work.
