    BT3000SX--New in Box

    http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...501059077.html

Newbie here, enjoying all the info on the BT3000. I picked one up used a couple months ago.

Above is a link to the Washington DC/Norther Virginia Craigslist where someone has listed what is apparently a brand new, still in the box BT3000SX and accessories. I don't know what the "SX" designation means, but I'm sure someone here does. Nor do I know if $400 is a reasonable price for this package.

And, FWIW, I don't know the seller. Just thought this might be of interest to the members here.

    Cheers,

$400 is quite high even with the extras, IMO

originally the BT3000 was available w/ or w/o stand. SX indicated the stand.

he's probably better off selling the accessories individually.

At one time they sold for that. That was with a good 2 year manufacturer warranty which this one does not have. Not that there would likely be anything wrong with it but the belts may have taken a set over that many years and their price is a bunch now. A fair offer would be $200. IMHO over time the value of the parts on these saws will decrease.
