Everyone needs some laughter -- this guy really doesn't have a clue about the value of his used tools

Decisions, decisions.....should I get a new Cman 21829 BT clone with router table, roll away stand, and warranty (with return privileges) on sale for $400, or a used BT3000 with no warranty for $550?

Depreciation only applies to most people, but apparently not all!

don't be too harsh with him. after all he does state in the ad: "Price may be negotiated upon inspection or buyer concerns".

you do have to figure a guy with an absurdly high starting asking price like $550 will be harder to bargain down to a reasonable price like $100 than a guy who starts out at $150.

It really irritates me when some people act as though they think their product is more valuable simply because they owned it!

Probably selling for 1/2 of what he paid

Fourteen years ago (pre-Home Depot) the BT3000 was selling for well over $500.00 without accessories and well over $1,000.00 with a few of them. If he bought the whole enchilada that $500 even though ridiculous now might seem unfortunately logical to him.
