I have one of these, and it works better than I expected. It is not made of the most durable materials like some PPE I have, but it is very reasonable for this price.

I had been on the fence because of the reviews for the reception, and because I already have a radio in the shop. But then I figured these would be pretty good for mowing the lawn, even if I have to hook my phone up to it. Thanks for the tip. Saw the discount earlier but misread it and thought it was when you bought two.

I was going to get these a few years ago, but the reviews are not very good. Instead I bought a set of skullcandy earbuds and I wear them under my earmuffs. I run the earbud wire behind my neck and inside the back of my shirt so it isn't likely to get caught up in any machinery. My cell phone has an FM radio, but usually I listen to Pandora or mp3s.

The earbuds only cost me $10, and I already had the phone. Just another alternative to consider.

I have the old fashioned version of these--same thing, just no digital tuning and no mp3 input. I really like them. I use them in the shop and while mowing the lawn. Reception on the radio is pretty good, and they work to cut down noise fairly well.

Got mine a week ago or so. They don't get too lound, but they work MUCH better than earbuds+ earmuffs when working and listening to my MP3 player.

Yea, they don't get too loud. Probably because they are made to protect your hearing, not destroy it.

There are many times where I wish mine did get louder. Some of my music is supposed to be played very loud, it even says "Play Very Loud" on the record label.

I've been wanting to get a good FM transmitter to use with my shop stereo and Worktunes. I'll usually hook my phone up to my stereo and play my MP3 collection or stream pandora when I'm in the mood for music. I mostly listen to the radio though, mainly because when I put the worktunes on I can't hear the music. A FM transmitter would let me hear the same thing on both. Every once in a while I'll conect my worktunes to the phone, but I really don't like the cord.
