Sounds like a good deal if it's got the 15A motor upgrade.

One question I have, since I've only had a small experience with BT3000, (mine is a BT3100),
What is the red thing in the middle of the table that looks like a small, thick leather bound book?

That one looks really clean, except the red thing that looks like a thick leather bound book of course... If the handwheel is original, chances are it has the 15 amp motor... I think all the 13 amp BTs had die cast handwheels...

I put in a call today to check out the posibility of getting my hands on the extension table. There is someone coming to look at the saw tomorrow and she will let me know tomorrow night.

She said the red thing is a metal box someone must have laid on the saw during their yard sale.
