HD Clearances- Forstner bits and Spade bits

OK, so HD has a special buy of Irwin Speedbore spade bits. It's a 17 bit set with a carrying case for $15. Definiitely worth it, IMHO. Even if you don't use the smaller bits, the larger ones are $2-3 anyways, so for the price of 5-7 bits you get 17 and a case (it's a roll-up soft case, but still looks durable).

Then, there's the 12 bit Porter Cable Forstner set with a wooden case. I haven't opened the package up yet, but the bits look like quality bits, and for a little more than $2/ each I thought it worth it.

I had the P-C set, it is pretty decent, but didn't have the sizes I needed. I ended up buying the giant box of Forstner bits from Grizzly...

The Porter Cables were nice, the case was pretty good, but I simply needed MUCH bigger bits for the jobs I had been working on... If the bit selection works for you, they really are worth the money...
