Buyer beware that this saw may have the BT3000 shim issues. Classic symptom. Of course it could just be lack of lube but that's usually the cause for shim problems.

Good note, I read all but that line.

It's not a costly fix, just takes a little time.

When mine fell out I put the good end at the top and stuck them to the Guide Holder with 3M 5200 and they worked for years until I retired that saw.

Anyone that looks at it needs to run the blade up and down with the throat plate off. Should be able to see if the shims are in place and holding.
