    DEWALT Tracksaw - $289

    Saw this posted on woodnet.

    http://woodworker.com/PROMO/IRW18Dweb.htm

Plus $50 rebate which would bring total down to $239. But fine print says not valid with other sales so it may not work.

Oh yah forgot to mention that. But the regular price for the cordless version is actually more expensive. Also note this is 28V and I *think* Lithium Ion.

        Consider the maintenance costs.
when that special 28V battery goes dead in 2-3 years it'll cost you $150 to 250 to replace it. (expenisve Li-ion, lots of cells, unique form factor and low volume item)
        Loring in Katy, TX USA

My experience with cordless saws hasn't been so good. They drain the batterties fast & don't seem to have much torque to get the job done as well as the corded ones. That said, I am a fan of cordless drills & impactors.

To be honest, for that kind of money check out:
            http://eurekazone.com/
From what I have been reading, heck of a product, no issues with upgrades either!

Check out the forum, I have been lurking there trying to p/u on the lingo and all. A nice entry would be the 114" track package.

Yah but for the price you're also getting a plunge cutting saw along with the rail.

Regardless, they seem to be sold out now anyways.
