    Thanks UC for the tip on installing the blade- I was suprised how quick it can be done. In L.A County the deal is still on, you may need to take both items to cashier or special orders desk.

      Just saw this and tried it at one of my local Lowe's. They had two different 20 oz. hammers, but neither one rung up with any discount after ringing up a twin-blade knife. So no deal for me. Hate it when my timing sucks....

        Was it the silver Stanley or the yellow Bostitch twin-blade knife? My local Lowes only had the Stanley knives. I don't think they would work for the deal. I know about the other stuff but I just don't need the other stuff.

          Deal was to end on June 14th

          When I got my utility knife/hammer on June 14th, the ad in the store said that the deal ran from June 1 through June 14th. The qualifying items and the hammers were all located on the end of an aisle.
