Polyurethane PU hose on sale Lowes

I snagged a spare polyurethane 50' x 1/4" air hose with 1/4 NPT fittings at Lowes today. Made by Hitachi, SKU 4254
Reg $34.97 yellow tagged $24.97. Comparable hoses at Amazon run $37 or so.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Thanks for the heads up Loring. I started using those a couple of years ago for my crews & have been replacing most of my 3/8" hoses with 1/4". I'll be trying to see what kind of deal I can roll myself on these & post back here.

Thanks for posting this, Loring. I picked one up today for my PC pancake compressor and the difference between this and the hose that came with it is night and day.

Thanks for the post. I picked up a couple with a 10% off coupon. My wife was amazed at how light they were when I handed her the package. I think they'll be a huge improvement!

you'll need to buy 1/4-NPT female fittings. Hose only comes with male 1/4-NPT swivel ends.

Sometimes the fittings leak. I've had to take some back to Lowes or HD and exchange them since they wouldn't seal. I always keep some spares of both ends to mate up with new tools or hoses - you'll need them to check and see which ends are leaking, by trial and error.
