    Rockler sale flyer, 2/27-3/21

    Came in the mail yesterday:

    3/4 phenolic ply, 24x32 $19.99
    Incra V120 $49.99
    Kreg R3 $39.99

They seem to be offering some cool deals lately, or maybe I've just gotten bored with Woodcraft. LOML bought me my first-ever cherry boards during their $3 PBF sale. Can't wait to build something with em. The bench cookies are pretty cool, too.

Almost forgot: It's got a $15-off-$50 coupon also.

Is that in store only? The nearest rockler to me is about 70 miles away so I'd love to be able to order the Miter gauge online.

Yes, but it never hurts to ask for that price online.

I know I have been living in Houston too long. I saw that 70 miles away and thought... So what's the big deal?...

Ahhh yes Texas and distance. I'm from MN and in 2002 we went to visit my BIL in Grapevine TX. Next morning we are going to a mall for what reason I dont' recall but in his words "only 40 min" away. As we are rolling along the freeway I notice a sign that reads 45 MPH. I take a side glance at the speedo and I see the 80 mark slightly to the left of the needle, then I also notice that we are just going with the flow of traffic. I was familiar with people driving 70+ in a 65 MPH zone even been there some myself. This just put into perspective the time, distance, speed relationship.

If Cubsfan's location means "Colorado", I would think a 140-mile roundtrip is a grocery run.

Besides, part of Colorado was once Republic of Texas:-)

I'd sooner pay full price + shipping online than brave Houston traffic:-)

Yep, in Colorado here. Perhaps I'm spoiled a bit by my 1/2 mile commute to work

I'll email their online support and see if they can give me the price. 140 miles worth of gas and time would probably make the deal not much of a deal.

              Thanks for the help!

The nearest Woodcraft is very good at sending flyers and e-mails.

The nearest Rockler fails miserably. The only item I ever receive from them is their ordering catalog, all of which is available online.

Just looked online and they don't even offer phenolic ply. That's a great price, too bad.

FWIW, I used to drive from League City, to I-10 @ Dairy Ashford (Katy Freeway) and back every day... Yeah the pay was good, but it stank being out of the house at least 12 hours a day...

1/2 mile?! Why bother getting in the car for that? That is like getting across a Houston mall parking lot!
