This should be very helpful to those that recently bought either the Delta 28-276 or the Ridgid BS1400 as they both could benefit from Cool Blocks and Urethane tires, a lamp for the Ridgid would be nice as well, The Band rollers would be a nice addition on wider blades vs the cool blocks on lets say smaller than 3/16ths blades but they are not included in this sale and there appear to be other prices on the Kreg fence and a few other accesories as well + free shipping on orders over $75, so hope this helps some of you new bandsaw owners. Luckily I have a woodcraft within drivng distance, So tomorrow its off to get some band rollers and tires, Tommyt ,.., http://www.woodcraft.com/Family/2000...de-Blocks.aspx,.., http://www.woodcraft.com/Family/2004...saw-Tires.aspx,.., http://www.woodcraft.com/Family/2005...Saw-Fence.aspx,.., http://www.woodcraft.com/Product/200...on-Spring.aspx

Does anyone know if those tires are sold as a single or as a pair?-John
"Look, I can't surrender without orders. I mean they emphasized that to me particularly. I don't know exactly why. The guy said "Blake, never surrender without checking"

According to the information tab on the Woodcraft product page, they are sold as individual tires...
I had an old compact car with 13" tires back in the 90's, it cost less to put tires on that back then, than it does to put tires on my cheap band saw...Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment

Yup, They are for a single tire, Carter has a rather exaggerated value on some of their items I believe, that being said you can get 2 urethane tires for $29.99 @ Rockler with free shipping using this code V0732, but not for much longer, I think it ends the 25th.,and their cool blocks aren,t that much more expensive, So Rockler may be the better deal at this time for a small purchase such as the tires and cool blocks, If your getting these for the Ridgid I would get the bandsaw brush as well since it appears that the brush mounted in this unit is on the upper wheel negating the lower tire and wheel which is where most of the p/u of dust and debris occurs,TommyLast edited by tommyt654; 02-20-2010, 09:58 PM.Comment

Thanks for the tip. Does anyone know which of the cool blocks fit the Ridgid BS1400? Mine's still in the box.

The Delta 28-276 takes the same size but the lower guides have an angled guide on 1 side I think they are 1/2 x 1/2 x 3/4 and 1 x 1/2 x 3/8ths inch, like this,.., http://www.highlandwoodworking.com/c...14bandsaw.aspxLast edited by tommyt654; 02-20-2010, 08:14 PM.Comment

Got a question on the tires. The description says one tire per package. Is this right or is it a pair?
Thanks
edit - looks like these are by Carter and are probably per tire.
edit again - Rockler had two urethane tires $30, Carter has them for $25 for one...so Woodcraft $32 reg. price seem high????
