7 Corners is having their annual machinery sale Feb 17-20th. Aside from advertised special deals, they appear to offer 10% discounts on non-featured tools from Delta, PC, etc...

Where is 7 corners? I've never heard of them before and the link doesn't say where they are located.

If you go to the home page or main domain - basically, delete everything except www.7corners.com in the URL - it says:

7 Corners is an old-line hardware store that is Valhalla for DIY and professionals. They have very narrow aisles with steel racking 10 feet high filled with thousands of bins.

I went there last week to find some 2" butt hinges. I had to choose from plated steel, plated brass, solid brass, nickle-plated brass and oiled bronze!

The second floor has to about 4 to 5,000 sq. feet of power tools and accessories. The guys working there write everything up on paper receipts and use a calculator to figure the sales tax and total. No new-fangled stuff like a computer.

I've taken my grandson's to visit 7 Corners and they thought it was cooler than the Science Museum! If you're ever in town for a Minnesota Wild hockey game, 7 Corners is just a block south of the arena.

You might think I haven't contributed much to the world, but a large number
of the warning labels on tools can be traced back to things I've done...

Thanks, Woodturner. Sounds like a neat place, unfortunately about 2000 miles from me, I don't think I'll be stopping in anytime soon :-0

It is also across the street from Cosetta's Italian deli. My girls know they're always supposed to pick a table with a 7 Corners view. They used to advertise that they had 10,000 power tools on display. I've lost many paychecks in that place.

I kinda hate to admit it, being a pure tool whore, but I like the first floor better than the 2nd. If they don't have it, you don't need it.

Yeah, 7 Corners and Cosetta's. A deadly combination. I have also left many paychecks at 7C. Cosetta's isn't as expensive and it makes a great place to come up with an explanation as to what happened to all my $$$$.

Run up Grand Avenue to Cafe Latte and bring home a piece of Chocolate Chocolate cake or Turtle cake and all will be forgiven ... and it will cost you as much as whatever you got at 7C.

Since I moved down here in the deep south, I haven't been able to visit 7C in a long time. It's now 2 hours away. First time there I spent the first hour wandering around with my mouth open and a glazed look in my eyes. Almost forgot why I was there and what I came to get. LOML says I get that look whenever I open a new tool catalog, especially one from Lee Valley.

I've been to seven corners before, but not seven corners hardware.

I think the last time I went, apparently I decided 1:30 am was the appropriate time to grab a sandwich at Quizzno's there (don't ask me where the Quizzno's is, I have no recollection of any of this) which I promptly lost about an hour later in the hotel room shower.

There happen to be a number of bars in the area...before I had kids, my friends and I would make a trip up there every year for a night or two of fun. Always was a good time. Wish I'd known about the hardware store...

Minnesota gets all the good stuff... They got the Vikings, the Twins, and 7 Corners too. Wish I could get there this weekend

You might be thinking of the 7 Corners in Minneapolis near the U of M. Lots of bars, lots of young people.

The hardware store is on 7th street in St. Paul. A few bars, lots of hockey fans!

Yep that's the one. Figured you guys only had (1) 7 corners up there.

                            I type corrected!
