I bought a set from Harborfreight for $9.99. They seemed OK, but I had my brother (he's a machinist for a bio-medical products company) check them out against his standards.

He tweaked the smallest one, but pronounced them accurate! YMMV!

A bit late to the square party Herb but... I also purchased a set of Groz from Highland WW about 4 years ago. After I had my freind that works in the store pull a Starrett out of the locked case and check square on the 2"-4"-6" in the set. Great purchase and I use all three sizes in various situations as TS.. BS.. jointer fence and fences on jigs and fixtures.

Well worth the $10 per in the set IMO....

      Enjoy... !
