    Scam.

They want you to wire cash to them.

My favorite excerpt from their web page:
    Q. I left you a message but no one contacted me?
    A. We receive thousands of phone messages daily. We can't reach everybody for some general questions so it's better if you place your order first and call us after. We also confirm all orders so make sure you write your cellphone when you register on the website.

They look awfully phishy to me...

No BBB record on them, they have hidden their whois registration data, and the Netcraft report on the site in question lacks uptime or history data, which would tell me that it hasn't been around long enough to be spidered and entered into Netcraft's database...

I would steer clear of that site.

They may be perfectly legit, but it sure doesn't seem like it...

A good example of why price is always not a good indicator of whether or not something is a bargain. No way of knowing obviously but their prices are in the ballpark with recent CL scams for high end equipment.

Lots of broken english on the pages which can be a red flag as its not very professional. Plus Toolsclearance.com was registered through an anonymous registrar in The Netherlands on 11/15/09, pretty fishy for a company that is supposed to be in Libertyville, IL. I'd make a wide turn past this one.

They claim to be "known for superior customer service"... How is this possible for a brand new company? Agree with the others who think this is a scam.

                Greetings,
Thank you for your help in my recent transaction. To show my gratitude, I have deposited a sum in the amount of $200,000 in in your name in the bank of Uzmenistan. Unfortunately I will be out of town, but all you have to do to have the sum transferred to your account is to send $300 for transaction expenses to.........

Again I thank you for all you have done for me.

I think I'll go for it!

                  Q. Where can i pickup my order ?
                  A. Our warehouse is located Libertyville, IL and you can pickup the items Monday-Saturday 10:00am-8:00pm EST .

Funny that they don't also include the address for the warehouse. If they did, I'd drive by there to see the place (I work just a couple miles away from Libertyville). Never heard of the place prior to this, BTW.

In the returns area, they don't mention the address for returning product.

                  Q. Why some methods of payment are not open for my account?
                  A. Due to a large number of fraudulent orders received lately, first time customers do not have access to all the methods of payment we accept.

How convenient to restrict methods of payment...

Everywhere you look are warning signs on this site.

A few weeks back there was a discussion about someone posting similiar deals all over the states like these. I,d bet its the same guys. I,m just wanted to see how everyone would react to this obvious scam. Maybe we should all flood him with bogus purchases info and then call the BBB on him

A google search of the name will bring up several links to scam reports.

Quick, print off some screen caps and run to your nearest price-matching store.

Apparently they have been shut down thanks to enough people complaining about the site, Many thanks to Phil Thein for that as well.
