Those look more like a butt joint clamp than a miter joint clamp.

They'll do both. Not a bad price on them.

I've got a pair of the besseys. I've found them to be really handy, especially during dry assembly and mockups. Keeps things in place and nice and square.

they'll do Butt joints, t-joints, 45-degree miter joints. The Bessey's are very nice, solid and flexible but they run ~$25 and up each at Lowes and Amazon. The current Amazon photo and price for the WS-3 doesn't seem to be correct. Not sure what's up.

here's Tom Hintz's review on the Bessey WS-3.

and it shows pics of how it does those joints.
It sort of looks like from the pics on the web there is a redesigned Bessey WS-3. The ones in the Peacthree ad look like the old Bessey WS-3 (as in Tom's article). So maybe they are clearance items.

Amazon has the Bessey WS-3 90° clamps for $11.20 ea

            "Greetings from Amazon.com,

Thank you for giving us feedback on images through our Image Feedback Form.
We've reviewed your submission and have made the decision to remove the inaccurate image for the following product. This change will appear within the next business day.

            Bessey WS-3 Angle Clamp"

Amazon has updated the picture and it now shows the right clamp and its really a Bessey WS-3. They are only $11.20 each which is a very good price as they normally run $25-35. Also since its sold by amazon, its eligible for free shipping on orders over $25. Good deal. Probably won't last long.

I could reduce my basis (stock market joke) by buying these but I already have at least six so I don't need anymore.

I do wonder if Amazon has a "hit counter-stop loss" on their product pages that jacks up prices on sale items when there is a sudden increase in activity, such as might be generated by posting a link in a forum the BT3central. That would work against sudden runs when they have a limited clearance, or have too good a deal, and/or simply make a mistake in posting prices.

It was $11.20 for a couple of days and still so when i posted at 10:30 AM today; but by Noon, an hour and a half after I posted the link, it had more than doubled in price to its accustomed level $24+.

If they don't now, I should probably be patenting this.
